A global dataset of soil hydrologic soil groups – a broad categorization of soil drainage based on soil texture classes and depth to bedrock. These data were developed to be used with the USDA curve-number method of modeling stormwater runoff. This methodology, and this dataset, are designed to be applied at regional or continental scales, but may not be applicable to smaller city-scale applications.
