An extensive database of biodiversity datasets, including species occurance records. GBIF also offers a streamlined method for downloading subsets of large community science databases such as eBird and iNaturalist.
How to access:
Data downloadable as a CSV spreadsheet with or without coordinates. If a spatial dataset (e.g., a shapefile) is desired, software or coding languages with geospatial capabilities (e.g., GIS, QGIS, R, Python) will be needed to convert between CSV and spatial data formats.
